Mrs Palfrey at The Claremont (2005), a Movie Review

This is a very lovely movie!  A touching story of love, friendship and what is most important in life.

Simple and heart-warming, a pleasant change of pace from many of today's popular movies.

 I recommend this movie!

"About Saddle Fit" by Master Saddle Maker David Genadek, a DVD review

This highly educational movie is a must see for all horse people! The dvd clearly teaches you all about saddle fit. Including how and why saddles are made the way they are, how to check your own saddle fit, what to do to improve the fit and how to find a saddle that will fit your horse properly if you can't make your current saddle fit comfortably for your horse.

The dvd also goes over what riding position the rider should use to best help the horse and why.

This wonderful dvd is all about the horse's well being and educating the horse person. This dvd isn't out to sell you anything or push any kind of personal agenda.

 I highly recommend this DVD!

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, a Movie Review

The latest Twilight movie is an enjoyable movie for what it is. Those who are steadfast fans of the Twilight series I think will enjoy the newest movie, it's up to the same standard as the previous movies.

For the rest of us, if you take it as it is( a movie based on novels for teenage girls) then it can be enjoyable.  If that isn't the kind of movie your into then you may want to skip this one.
Even though the trailer makes it seem like there is a good amount of action in this movie, there is not! It mainly focus is on romance and relationships.

Also a word to the squeamish, there is a rather gruesome scene in this movie that I didn't expect to see.

Over all it's a decent teen movie!

"Dolphin Tale" (2011), a Movie Review

"Dolphin Tale" is a nice, clean, family-friendly movie, based on a true story, that would be enjoyable for the whole family.   Even though the story line is a familiar and predictable one, the message is one of hope, perseverance, and love that warms the heart.

The dolphins are beautiful and you almost immediately fall in love with the star of the movie "Winter" the dolphin.

  A very enjoyable movie!

"Jack and Jill" (2011), a movie review

Adam Sandler's newest movie "Jack and Jill" is a wonderfully funny movie! From beginning to end it's pack full of off the wall comedy.
The two twins are so alike and so unlike at the same time, it makes for an unpredictable, enjoyable story line.

Adam Sandler does a fantastic job playing the twin sister "Jill", giving her quite an interesting, strange personality.

The movie is thoroughly enjoyable and surprisingly clean. If your looking for a light-hearted comedy that will keep you laughing all the way through this is the movie for you!

"Yes Man" (2008), movie review

While this is an older movie, if you haven't seen it you need too! Starring the always funny Jim Carrey and the quirky Zooey Deschanel , this delightful film takes you on a humorous, wild ride of self-discovery and adventure.

The movie will keep you laughing the whole way through, and at the same time explore some serious question you need to ask yourself such as; what is really important in life? What are my real priorities? How can I learn to balance work with fun and play? Am I saying "no" to new opportunities and happiness?

You'll come away from this movie feeling light hearted and inspired, truly a feel good film! One of my all time favorites!

"First Aid for Prolapse" with Christine Kent author of "Saving the Whole Woman", a DVD Review

While this DVD is made for women with pelvic organ prolapse or other female issues, because it teaches proper posture for women it's a must see for all women! The DVD clearly teaches how the common posture taught for women is actually incorrect and damaging to their female bodies leading to health issues, and poor posture later in life( often seen as the upper back hump in older women).

The DVD includes two gentle, relaxing, very enjoyable workouts that are designed to teach you proper posture and to develop and strengthen the proper muscles and balance to maintain healthy, correct posture throughout the day and during common activities.

The DVD is very educational, with a thorough, clear teaching style.

A must see for every woman! I highly recommend this DVD!
